Breakfast in your room

Depending upon availability, and under normal circumstances, once normal service resumes, we hope to be able to offer a choice of the following as previously.

Fruit Juice / Fresh Fruit & Yoghurt / Grapefruit / Prunes

Cereals / Porridge / Muesli

Kippers / Smoked Haddock / Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Egg

Vegetarian Bangers ‘n’ Beans / Eggs / Tomatoes / Mushrooms

Eggs as you like them … Boiled, Poached,  Fried, Omlette

Toast with a selection of Marmalades and Preserves

Specialty Teas and Coffee (including herbal and decaf’)

Shakshuka (Eggs poached in a spicy tomato/red pepper sauce)

and on occasion or by advance request – Croissants / Pains au Chocolate which can be served in your room  (eg if you have an early start, or during the Covid-19 pandemic if you do not wish to eat in public spaces)

Self-serve Continental-style breakfast with Boiled Eggs, Smoked Salmon, a selection Cheeses or with Cold Meats may be offered on Saturdays, and on the rare occasion of “cook’s day off” on holydays, or if a cold breakfast is preferred.   During the week of the Passover Festival (commemorating the biblical Exodus) bread will be replaced by unleavened water biscuits (matzo).
